n8n Discount Codes & Deals: What Actually Works

n8n discount and deals real savings versus fake promo codes

There is no reliable public n8n promo code; the real ways to save are annual billing, the startup program, and self-hosting the free Community Edition. We won't invent fake codes. Here's the honest picture.

Disclosure: some links on this page are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

1. Annual billing

Switching from monthly to annual on n8n Cloud typically saves about two months' cost per year. It's the simplest legitimate discount. See current rates on our pricing page.

2. The startup / non-profit program

Eligible early-stage startups and non-profits can apply for discounted access directly with n8n. Terms change, so apply through the official site.

3. The free self-hosted route

The biggest saving of all: self-host the free Community Edition on a Hostinger VPS from $6.49/mo. Unlimited executions, no plan fees. Start with our VPS guide or the cost calculator.

A warning about fake coupon sites

Most sites listing an "n8n coupon code 2026" are affiliate bait; the codes don't work. Don't waste time; use the three real methods above. Official pricing: n8n.io/pricing.

The discounts that actually exist

Four real ways to pay less for n8n, in rough order of how much they save.

Self-host the Community Edition. This is the discount nobody counts as one, and it is a hundred percent off the licence. The Community Edition is free, has no execution ceiling, and the Sustainable Use License permits running it for your own business. You pay for a server instead, which starts in single-figure dollars a month. If cost is the reason you are on this page, start here rather than hunting for a code.

Pay annually. n8n's pricing page states annual billing saves 17% against monthly. That is the largest simple saving available on a Cloud plan, and it requires nothing but committing for a year.

The Startup Plan. n8n offers 50% off the Business plan to companies with fewer than twenty employees and under five million euro in total funding. It runs for a year and is renewable while you stay eligible, and it is currently self-hosted only. If you qualify, this is a larger saving than anything else on this list.

Education. n8n's support documentation says discounts are available to educational institutions case by case, through an application form rather than a published rate. No amount is published, so apply and ask rather than budgeting against a number.

Why promo codes for n8n are mostly fake

Search for an n8n coupon and you will find pages of sites offering codes. Almost none of them work, and the pattern is worth recognising because it repeats across every SaaS product.

Coupon aggregators generate pages automatically for any product with search volume, whether or not a code exists. The page ranks, you click, the code fails at checkout, and the site still earns from the ad impression or the affiliate cookie that was set on the way through. The codes are not expired so much as never real. A useful tell: if a page lists eight codes with vague expiry dates and no source, none of them exist.

n8n does not run a general public promo code programme. The discounts above are the ones published on n8n's own pages, which is the only place worth checking before you spend time on a code hunt.

Reducing the bill without changing plan

If you are on Cloud and close to your execution ceiling, the cheapest fix is often design rather than spend.

Schedule triggers are the usual culprit. A workflow polling every five minutes burns roughly 8,640 executions a month whether or not anything happened. Moving it to a webhook, so the upstream service tells you when there is something to do, can take that to a few dozen. Where a webhook is not available, widening the schedule is the next best thing: every doubling of the interval halves the executions.

Consolidation helps too. Because n8n bills per workflow run rather than per step, merging several small workflows that fire on the same trigger into one longer workflow reduces the execution count without reducing the work done. That is the opposite of the instinct you learn on task-billed tools, and on n8n it is free money. The cost calculator will show what the change is worth before you do it.
